2024 Accomplishments at KAF Manufacturing

NIST SP 800-171 & CMMC Compliance

In 2024, KAF Manufacturing successfully completed NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC training, achieving full compliance in these critical areas. This certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to cybersecurity and safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in alignment with the latest federal regulations.

DLA Enhanced Validation Achieved

We’re proud to announce that KAF Manufacturing has earned DLA Enhanced Validation, further solidifying our status as a trusted supplier for the Department of Defense. This achievement underscores our ability to meet the highest standards in quality, security, and performance.

Team Expansion & Growth

In 2024, KAF Manufacturing expanded our team by welcoming new talent to our Diamond Turning and Milling Departments, as well as strengthening our programming capabilities. We’re also proud to highlight the growth within our current team, with several employees taking on new roles and responsibilities to support our continued commitment to quality and precision.

New Equipment Purchase: Berran Rotary Chuck & Software

To further elevate our capabilities, we invested in a Berran Rotary Chuck & Software for our Keyence Laser Marking System. This acquisition enables us to expand our laser marking services, improving precision and flexibility for more complex parts and features.

Internal Audits Completed

KAF Manufacturing conducted two key internal audits in 2024:

Production Audit: Ensuring that our production processes remain optimized and compliant.

Leadership/Quotes & Contracts Audit: Evaluating our leadership practices, as well as our quoting and contract management processes to ensure seamless customer Engagement.

AS9100D Surveillance Audit

In December, we successfully completed a surveillance audit for our AS9100D certification. This audit, which ensures our compliance with aerospace quality management standards, confirms KAF’s commitment to maintaining excellence in quality systems and performance across all operations.

Customer Satisfaction

We received customer satisfaction surveys late 2024, with all responses rating KAF Manufacturing’s performance as “Good” or “Excellent.” This feedback highlights our dedication to customer service and continuously meeting our clients' expectations.

Exceeded Targets Every Quarter

We are proud to report that KAF Manufacturing exceeded targets in On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality every quarter in 2024. This achievement reinforces our commitment to efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction.
